Clara "Lorraine" Asselstine

July 10, 1936 – May 6, 2026

Passed away peacefully at Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital in Perth on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the age of 89. Lorraine is predeceased by her beloved husband, Arnold Asselstine, and her son, Patrick. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Mischeal, Mike (Dawn), Terry (Elsie), Ronald and Randy. Proud grandmother and great-grandmother to many, each of whom brought her immense joy. Lorraine is survived by her siblings Helen Chalmers (John), Janette and Peter. She is predeceased by her siblings Eileen, Evelyne, Norma, Stanley, Bill, Jim, Paul and David.

Visitation will be held at Milestone Funeral Homes, Parham Chapel on Friday, May 15, 2026 from 10:00am to 11:00am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am in the Chapel. A luncheon will be held afterward at the Sharbot Lake Oso Hall, where family and friends are invited to gather and share memories of Lorraine’s life.
