David Roberston

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dave Robertson at the age of 91 with his beloved wife and partner Marlene by his side. Dave was predeceased by his first wife, Barbara (nee Barclay). Loving father of Andy (Dianna), Jacquie (Reg), Patti (Jeff), Billy, Susan (Wayne), Jamie (Susan), and Nicole. Predeceased by his sons William, David, and Stephen. Dave spent much of his life in Oshawa before retiring to Northbrook. 

He made a lifelong career in sales in the food and wine industry, where he was known for his warmth and easy connection with others. He loved the sun, boats, fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, and time with family at the lake, swimming with his great grandchildren. He will be remembered for his stories, his kindness, and the way he made people feel. In lieu of flowers the family ask that you consider donating to Heart of Hastings Hospice in Madoc. They truly made a difficult time easy with their care. 

Take a rest, dear—you worked hard all your life.
