Dorothy Barnett Obituary BARNETT (nee Campbell), Dorothy Ruth - Peacefully passed away on November 23, 2011 at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal with her family by her side. Dorothy was born on September 25, 1937 in Toronto, the daughter of the late Mary, and Andrew Campbell, brother to Andrew (Carol). She is survived by her husband of 52 years and best friend (Clifford) Jim, retired from CNR. She will be greatly missed by her three children Reid (Judy), Daryl (Natalie), and Leanne (Raymond). Granny is adored by her nine wonderful grandchildren, Campbell, Quinn, Kelly, Katrina, Corinne, Trevor, Kayla, Brayden, and Kyle. She loved them more anything and was extremely proud of them all. She loved to bowl, square dance, play volleyball, and spent her summers with her family and friends Shirl (and the late Jim)Worley and daughters Karen (Scott), Lisa (Kevin) and their families at the family cottage in Elbow Lake (Parham, Ontario). Retired with her husband, she spent her summers at the cottage and the winters in North Fort Myers Florida where she was very active in the community. Dorothy had an incredible will to live and survived a liver transplant in 1997. We will all miss her incredible energy, her unbridled sense of fun, and her zest for life and all it has to offer.
