Dorothy Gray

Dorothy Nellie Faye (Smith) Gray, in her 85th year, passed peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, on April 8, 2026 at AB Smith Homestead House Hospice. Dorothy was the youngest daughter of the late Wellie and Zelda Smith.

She was predeceased by the love of her life, Graydon; her siblings, Don (Thelma), Jean Hole (Bill), Ray, and Doreen Warren (Harold); her brothers-in-law, Leonard Gray, Murray Gray, and Ron (Montana) Gray. She is remembered with love by her sister-in-law, Jean Smith.

She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Debby Hartwick, Donna Wood, John Hole, Ralph Smith, Robert Warren, Rick Smith, Brent Warren, Karen Tryon, Perry Warren, Don Smith, Paula Warren, Phillip Smith, Randy Gray, Terry Gray, predeceased by Chris McDonald and their families.

She had a deep and devoted love for her cherished poodles, who were constant companions and brought her endless joy and comfort throughout her life. Dorothy will be remembered for her steady presence and the life she built through hard work and quiet dedication. She held a special place in the hearts of her family and friends and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held at the Milestone Funeral Homes – Parham Chapel on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. Funeral Service to follow in the Chapel at 12:00 pm. Burial in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Mountain Grove.  Lunch to follow at Parham Free Methodist Church Hall.  Memorial donations made in Dorothy’s memory to Kingston Humane Society or the Parham Free Methodist Church would be appreciated by the family.
