Doug Thurston (1948 - 2025) Retired OPP

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Doug on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 after a brief illness. Loving husband of 42 years to Joyce (Lethbridge). Proud and dearest father to his girls Stephanie (Matthew) Seymour and Jennifer Thurston-Wettlaufer (Justin). Cherished Grampa of Grayson (Justin). Cherished Grampa of Grayson, Brian, Mya and Olivia. Doug will be greatly missed by his brother Bill and by his sister Elaine (Ivan) Atkinson. Pre-deceased by his parents Alfred & Delma Thurston. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends.
