Elizabeth Gilpin Obituary "JOY" GILPIN, ELIZABETH J.W.-Sawyer Oct. 8, 1921 - Sept 8, 2012 Mum passed peacefully at "HOME" on a stormy Saturday afternoon followed by a beautiful rainbow, the sunshine streaming through her window and guided by her soulmate, Dad. Loved so dearly by her family, Rhett and Pat; Teresa, Garry, Shannon and Valerie; Tina and Sarra Brian and Ellie; Chantelle, Chuck, Zoe and Mia; Andrew and Tanya; Shawna and Saimir, Aiden and Elira; Brittney. Joy; Chad and Krista, Janzen; Kimberlee and Bud, Kayla and Lucas. Dawn and Bob; Scott and Jess; Jarred and Laura You touched our hearts with "Joy" and we are so thankful for the love and laughter we've shared. A difficult year has passed but precious with our "in the moment" memories. We offer our sincere thanks to Dr. Louis Kennedy and the staff at Arbour Heights Confederation Park and Breakwater Park for your care and kindness to Mum. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Central Frontenac Fire Department would be appreciated by the family. Resting at Goodfellow's Funeral Home Parham. Friends will be received on Wednesday September 12, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held at St Andrew's Anglican Church, Sharbot Lake on Thursday September 13, 2012 at 11:30 am. Following cremation, Interment of ashes will be held at a later date.
