George A. Allen
April 6, 1950 – November 13, 2025
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of George A. Allen, age 75, of Sharbot Lake, on November 13, 2025, with his family by his side.
George leaves behind his wife Dorothy, his children Justin (Ana) and Michelle (Caleb), his grandchildren who brought him joy, and his sister Diane. All of them shared in supporting him with love during his final moments.
A man of many quiet talents, George had a lifelong love for woodworking and spent countless hours in his workshop crafting pieces with care and precision. His handcrafted wooden trains—made each year for the Festival of Trees—became a cherished community tradition and a reflection of the pride he took in creating something meaningful for others to enjoy.
George also found joy in music. He loved playing his guitar and singing, filling the house with familiar songs that brought comfort and warmth. Music was one of the ways he expressed himself, sharing small but meaningful moments with those around him.
Those who knew George will remember his independence, his creativity, and the unique way he shared himself through his work and his music. Though he was a man of few words, the things he made—and the moments he created—will continue to speak for him.
Surrounded by family in his final moments, George will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
At his request, there will be no funeral service.
