James Good Obituary GOOD, JAMES MELVILLE (1920 - 2018)
Passed away peacefully at Arbour Heights Long Term Care in Kingston in his 99th year. (Although he had hoped to make 100) with is family by his side. Predeceased by his wife of 73years, his brothers Chet, Harry, and Donald and sisters Kathleen, Margarete, the children of Sara and Franklin Good of Parham. Father of Sandra and David. Grandfather of their children and great grandchildren. Melville proudly served in the ship yards in Kingston during World War II and then with his wife bought the Bateman Store in Parham in 1944 witch they with Doris's sister Jean operated until April 2009. He also served as Parham Station master and for years as postmaster, but his passion was Parham Fair, which he had attended since he was a very young child. Resting at Goodfellow's Funeral Home, Parham. Friends will be received on Monday November 12, 2018 from 6-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday November 13, 2018 at 2 pm. Interment in Parham Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family.
