Kathleen Thompson Obituary THOMPSON (Hartwick), Kathleen May May 9, 1942 - February 18, 2017 It is with deep sadness that the family of Kathleen May Thompson announce her peaceful passing at Fairmount Nursing Home on Saturday, February 18, 2017. Kathleen fought a brief battle with vascular dementia before being taken home to meet her Heavenly Father. Beloved wife of Dawson Thompson for 57 years. Loving, proud mother of Donna Howes (Darren), Grant Thompson (Carla), Glen Thompson (Ellen) and Carolyn White (Darren). Cherished grandmother to Lucas, Nicholas, Curtis, Leenza, Dawson, Rachel and Emmy. Loving great grandmother to Brayden and Noah. Beloved sister to Bruce Hartwick, Marie Lyttle (Nelson), Lloyd Hartwick (Donna), Gary Hartwick (Sharon) and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her dear mother and father Alma and Gordon Hartwick, mother and father-in-law Margaret and Charles Thompson, sisters Hazel Hartwick, Leona Mills, and Viola Ryder, and brother and sister-in-laws Bert Thompson, Burma and Bert Ruttan, Ellen and Bernard Kirkham, and Thelma Shaw (Art). Kathleen was a loving, hard-working woman who spent her life taking care of those she loved. Above all else, she was a devoted wife and incredibly proud mother who loved her family deeply. Although she will be terribly missed, her family is comforted by knowing that Kathleen is now rejoicing with angels and predeceased loved ones in her heavenly home. The family will receive friends at Goodfellow's Funeral Home, 11014 Road 38 Parham Ontario on Thursday February 23, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A service and celebration of life will be held on Friday February 24, 2017 at 11:00 am, interment Parham Cemetery.
