Larry Gerald Black
1938-2026
Larry passed away peacefully at A.B. Smith Homestead House Hospice in Kingston, ON, on May 1st, 2026. Larry was born and raised in Harlowe ON. He worked his entire career for Smith Corona Typewriters and lived in the village of Unionville, ON for 35 years. Larry happily returned to Harlowe for his retirement years.
Larry was a devoted husband to Audrey (York), loving father to Amy (Steve) and proud grandfather to Quinn (Sydney), big brother to Roger (Sheila) and the late Ricky (Cindy). Larry will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A Social Gathering will take place at Milestone Funeral Homes, Northbrook Chapel on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 11am to 1pm followed by Words of Remembrance and A Celebration of his Life at 1:00pm. Reception to follow. In Lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
