Margaret Maxine (Kellar) Purdon

Margaret Purdon Obituary Peacefully at home on Thursday August 19, 2010 at the age of 66 after a long battle with cancer. Margaret Maxine Kellar Purdon, daughter of the late Elwood and Frances Kellar, dearly loved wife of John Purdon. Loving mother of Tammy Purdon-Harris (Grant) and Shawn (Kim). Grandmother of Carolyn, Emily, Makenzie and Madison. Survived by sisters and brothers Winnifred Flieler (the late Ferd), Cecil (Jean), Delbert (Phyllis), Maxwell (Audrey) and Shirley Burke (Percy), also sisters in law Bernice and Diane Purdon (Bill). Predeceased by brother James (Lorraine) and brother in law Brian Purdon. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Maxine's life will be held at Goodfellow's Funeral Home, Parham on Saturday August 28, 2010. Family and friends will be welcome from 11 am until 1:45 pm. Funeral service will be at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation for the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario at KGH or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
