Marilynne "Lynne" Cooney - Dodds

May 12, 1938 ~ May 2, 2026

Lynne passed away suddenly but peacefully at Kingston General Hospital surrounded by her children and 2 granddaughters. Pre-deceased by her partner Terry Mullen in 2021. Cherished and adored mother of Dan (Sue) Dodds of Belle Ewart, Tracey Dodds of Kingston, Jeff (Lisa) Dodds of Belle Ewart and stepson Ben Mullen of Oshawa. Lynne’s memories will always be cherished in the hearts of her grandchildren Kristen, Jenna Todd, Tony and Rylan and great grandchildren Kallie, Samantha, Jordan, Jadelyn, Luca, Kaylee, Joseph, Justin and Ava and a set of twin boys that are on there way. Beloved daughter of the late Edward Cooney and Dorothea May and will be forever missed by her sister Gloria Keller and brother Ed Cooney. 

She held a special place in the hearts of her family and friends and will be deeply missed. The family wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Kingston General Hospital for the above and beyond care and compassion to our mother. She had a great sense of humor and could always be counted on to lift the spirits of those around her. Lynne was known for her selflessness, she would truly give the shirt off her back to anyone in need, always putting others before herself. Lynne lived by the belief that “family is everything” and her legacy will continue to inspire all who loved her.
