Marylin (Giles) Babcook

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Providence Care Hospital, Kingston at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Allan Babcook. Cherished companion for 25 years to Mel Love. Adored mother of Cheryl Nason (Randy) of Godfrey, Cathy Reynolds of Godfrey and Lori Bertrim (Don) of Godfrey. Loving grandmother to Adam, Amanda (Jesse), Kyle (Ashley), Jodi, Kelly and late Joey and great-grandmother of Saige, Mackenzie, Kayson, Addison, Brayden, Quinn, Aiden, Abby and Nora. Predeceased by her parents William and Anna Giles as well as her brothers Bill Giles (late Helen) (late Joyce) and Mac Giles (late Dorothy). The family wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Rosewood Retirement, Queens Palliative Care Team and the Staff of Providence Care Hospital, Heritage 2 for the above and beyond care and compassion provided to our mother. Memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. A Family Graveside Service will be held in the Piccadilly Cemetery in the spring.
