Passed away peacefully at his home in Flinton on Monday, December 29, 2025 at the age of 83.
Norm will be forever missed by his devoted wife, Margaret of 38 years.
The first born son of Bud (Gerald) Salmond and Helen Perry.
Cherished father of Jennifer Salmond (Clint) of Sharbot Lake, Jacqui Salmond of Sharbot Lake, Cal Salmond of Sharbot Lake, Matthew Salmond of Wagarville, Jesse Salmond (Krista) of Yarker, and Cathy Loucks (Robert) of Flinton.
Cherished grandfather of Ashley, Brendan, Halley, Jainah, Anna, Joshua, Jasmine, Charlotte, Alicia, Amanda, and Matthew as well as many great-grandchildren.
Beloved brother of Cheryl Freeburn (late Murray) of Flinton, Wanda Kay of Kingston, Debra Lloyd of Saskatoon, Deanna Horwood (Bruce) of Napanee, Dean Salmond of Cloyne, Heather Bryden of Belleville, and Mary Jane McLachlin (Peter) of Napanee.
Norm will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Pre-deceased by siblings Gerald Salmond (Donna), Bonnie Salmond, Barry Salmond (late Judy), and Susan Johnson (late Rick). Pre-deceased by step-son Robbie McLeod.
A celebration of Norm‘s life will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Milestone Funeral Home in Northbrook from 12:00pm - 2:00pm.
