Thelma Clow Obituary CLOW, THELMA DOREEN February 11, 1935- January 17, 2012 Peacefully at the John M Parrott Centre, Napanee on Tuesday January 17, 2012 in her 77th year. Thelma's final days were spent surrounded by family and friends whose lives she had touched during her lifetime. She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband Jim of 58 years. Much loved mother of Beth Lowery (Ralph), Karen Oswald (Peter), Tom (Crystal), Teresa Manion (Dean), Lynda Clow (Oliver). Cherished Nan of Nathan, Jeremy, Sarah, Jenna, Jordan, Jami, Jason, Luke, Darcy and James. Adored by her great grandchildren Zachery, Cali, Jackson, Tristan N and Tristan C. She is survived by brother Don and sister Phyllis. Predeceased by brothers Herschel, Harold, Arnold and sister Pearl. Thelma touched the lives of all she met, with her smile, her generosity and her kindness. She was a tireless worker, who gave freely of herself to family and her community. She was well known for her baking, especially her homemade bread which won many awards at the local fair. Her home was open to all, with the tea pot on and treats always at the ready. We are so thankful for her big heart and for teaching us to love, to laugh and always think of others. Our family would like to acknowledge the staff of The John M Parrott Centre for their excellent care. Especially the staff of Orchard Trail who comforted mom and our family with such love and kindness. You are a special group of people. In keeping with Thelma's wishes cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Goodfellow's Funeral Home, Parham. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday January 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Memorial service will be held in the Funeral Home, Monday January 23, 2012 at 2 pm. As expressions of sympathy donations can be made to the Parham Oddfellows\Rebecca's Lodge or the John M Parrot Centre Activation Department would be appreciated by the family. In memory of Thelma, share a smile, plant a sunflower or have a cup of tea.
