Passed away peacefully in his 91st year at the Pine Meadow Nursing Home on Saturday, July 18, 2026.  Tom is predeceased by his parents Ethel and Albert, his ex-wife Shirley as well as infant daughter Dori Anne Haire.  He was brother of Fred, Marjorie, Victor, Harry and Bill all predeceased. Loving father of  Brian Haire (Jacqueline), Cindy Haire, Brenda Manion (Jeff).  Poppa to 5 grandchildren, Thomas-John Reeds (Jacqueline), Jeremy Reeds (Sara), Ashleigh Reeds (Matthias), Jessica Neff (Robert) and Katherine Haire (Kyle).
Super Poppa to 5 great grandchildren, Jillian, Parker, Finnigan, Harvey and Simon Reeds.  He will also be missed by his grand dog Baxley.
Family and friends are invited to Milestone Funeral Home, 11928 Hwy. 41, Northbrook to join in a Celebration of Tom’s Life on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 2:00p.m.  Visitation will begin one hour prior from 1:00 p.m.  The family wishes to thank all of the staff at Pine Meadow Nursing Home for their loving care of Tom during his residency with them.  If desired, donations to your local Humane Society in Tom’s memory would be deeply appreciated by the family.
