Passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Homestead House, Kingston, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Norman McIntosh. Cherished mother of Kim Storebo of Alberta, Kathy Derksen (Doug) of Saskatchewan, Jeanette Thiessen of Alberta, Adrianne Kinakin (George) of Alberta and Bill McIntosh (Marlene) of Saskatchewan. Predeceased by her daughter Loralei Gilmore. She will be lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends and family. We would like to thank Homestead House for the wonderful care for mom during her stay there. Donations in memory of Velma made to the Parham Free Methodist Church would be appreciated by family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at the Parham Free Methodist Church from 12:00 – 1:00 pm. Followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 pm. Burial at Parham Cemetery to follow. There will be a light reception after burial at the Parham Free Methodist Church.
