William Lloyd Cooke
February 7, 1954 – June 8th, 2026
Will passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on June 8th, 2026, at the age of 72. Beloved husband and best friend of Melody Cooke (Goodfellow). Pre-deceased by his parents Lloyd & Vi Cooke, his in-laws Art & Berta Goodfellow and by his brother and best friend Mike Cooke. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Deb (Randy) Lindenblatt and Nancy (Steve) Steele. Brother in-law to Marj (late Ivan), Janet, Julie (Jim) and David (late Ann). He will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Will dedicated many years of service to Ontario Hydro, proudly following in the footsteps of his uncle and father. Outside of work, he enjoyed playing hockey, baseball and had a true passion for bingo. He always welcomed visitors and thoroughly enjoyed when people would stop by for a chat, a laugh, or simply to spend time together.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Milestone Funeral Home, Parham Chapel on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 11:00am to 1:00pm. A Celebration of Life Service will follow in the Chapel at 1:00pm. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
Friends desiring may contribute in his memory to the Parham United Church or Central Frontenac Fire and Rescue - Station 4. Online condolences, photos and memories can be shared with the family at www.milestonefuneralhomes.com
